Job Description

Are you a Direct Marketing Manager/Executive with experience of managing Direct Marketing Projects and Campaigns***Do you fancy bringing your expertise to a very deserving charity in East Anglia***Or perhaps you have already worked as an Individual Giving Manager for a Non-profit orgRead on...this 12 month Mat Contract starting July/Aug could be perfect for you!Your duties will be many and varied to include things such as:

  • Producing and executing an effective and sustainable individual giving plan in line with the overall fundraising strategy, in order to grow income from new and existing donors
  • Managing and developing a programme of integrated individual giving fundraising campaigns across multiple channels
  • Creating and implementing effective donor journeys in order to maximise the engagement and retention of individual supporters
  • Identify potential new individual giving audiences and implement acquisition strategies in order to grow the individual giving donor base.
  • Effectively manage all third party suppliers to ensure all activity is delivered on time and to budget
  • Managing and developing supporter communications including welcome, newsletter and post appeal communications
  • Produce and execute legacy and in memoriam marketing plans
  • Manage and oversee all data requirements including the accurate selection and segmentation of data for individual giving purposes
  • Produce and interpret monthly, campaign and ad hoc reports
  • Identify and develop the systems and processes necessary to deliver effective individual giving activity including the website, fundraising database, data analysis tools, social media
As IDEAL Individual Giving Manager or Direct Marketing Manager, you will:
  • Proven experience of managing the creation and production of appeals and retention communications to achieve income targets across mail, phone, email, social media, etc.
  • Ability to manage relationships with third party suppliers including creative agencies, printers and fulfilment house.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work collaboratively and a good team player
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate consistently and effectively across all relevant areas of knowledge and expertise
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise work to meet given deadlines Have a Marketing qualification
  • A background of producing Individual plans and budgets and managing their implementation
  • As a real bonus, if you have experience of managing fundraising gaming products such as lotteries and raffles
