Job Description

We are seeking an experienced planner as a team leader for our area-based development management teams to help us implement our place shaping agenda, and our objective to be positive and proactivein supporting the best development in Huntingdonshire. You will be involved in providing advice to the public, developers, agents and others in relation to all planning matters, present evidence in response to planning appeals and provide specialist inputinto major development schemes.But you arent on your own - youll also be working alongside colleagues in Planning Enforcement and Conservation & Environment. Youll also work on projects and initiatives that will make a difference to our customers and your colleagues. Expect to spendtime with Strategic Growth, Directors, Politicians and other teams who are working to make Huntingdonshire a great place to live, work and invest in.The role offers you the chance to get hands on in planning matters for the benefit of our District. Youd expect that, but it also offers you the chance to develop your team. Your line management ability will guide them towards increased productivity, bettercareer pathways and youll help create new ideas and ways of working.
