We have both permanent and fixed term opportunities.We have both permanent and fixed term opportunities full-time and part-time.Full time positions: Our core working hours are Monday - Thursday 8.45am - 5pm and Friday 8.45am - 4.30pm.The part time positions available are:24.5 hours per week (12 months fixed term contract) working 12pm - 5pm Monday to Thursday and 12pm - 4:30pm on FridayWe are the first point of contact for the public accessing the council services via phone, email, social media, and face-to-face. The main access channel is the telephone therefore the roles are predominantly call centre-based.You will deliver a wide range of council services directly to the customer and resolve multiple enquiries at the same time enhancing the customer experience. We are looking for highly motivated people with a positive and enthusiastic attitude to customerservice to join our busy and supportive team.You will be familiar with working in a customer service environment and have a passion for customer service, along with a good knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft packages and the internet. You must be able to assimilate a wide variety of information.You will be provided with a comprehensive training programme, along with ongoing coaching and development from your Team Leader.
