Job Description

Our client is a fast-paced business with easily accessible offices in Huntingdon. They currently have an opening for an experienced Credit Controller to join their friendly team where you will have your accounts to maintain and ensure that debtors are kept within required company expectations. This role can be fulfilled on a full-time or part-time basis and is a fully site-based role. Your duties will include;

  • Chasing debts by phone and email
  • Developing strong relationships with your customers in order to keep outstanding debts at acceptable levels
  • Reviewing monthly overdue accounts and placing on stop if required
  • Escalating any areas of concern to Credit Manager at the earliest opportunity
  • Answering customer queries, providing copy invoices and liaising internally as appropriate
  • Payment allocation
  • Providing information for management reports
  • Monitoring failed direct debits and pursuing alternative payment
  • Ad hoc duties
This role will suit someone who has a strong background in credit control is a keen communicator and enjoys being on the phone.A good understanding on Excel and financial systems is important as is a strong team ethic and the ability to work in a high-performing and close-knit team.
