Job Description

SAP Business AnalystCirca £3500 depending on skills and experienceHuntingdonPermanent This is an exciting time to join our team as we embark on a major business transformation programme. Anglian Water uses SAP as its core central ERP system, it is the heart of our IT business landscape and underpins the business operations. We are embarkingon a major SAP Upgrade from ECC6 to S/4Hana.As our Business Analyst, youll be a key facilitator within the project, assisting the Solution Architect, Programme and Project Manager bridge the gap between the users, stakeholders and the solution team, translating what the business is asking for intoa technical form which our technical implementation partners can relate to.Through participation in workshops and engagement with the business youll gain an understanding of non-functional requirements. Youll also liaise with various business units to gather requirements and resolve issues and will be responsible for producinghigh quality detailed documentation. Strategic and wider thinking will be key to this role.What does it take to be a Business Analyst

  • Knowledge of PRINCE2 & ITIL
  • SAP functional knowledge
  • Experience of process mapping and business process re-engineering
  • Understanding of legal implications of data management and best practice
  • Working in an outsourced IT environment
  • Experience of cross process working and IT project environments
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • SAP implementations and upgrades experience would be beneficial
  • Business Analysis
  • Well organised with attention to detail
  • Ability to persevere with tasks until they are accomplished, irrespective of obstacles
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
