Job Description

Job Description Our client in Huntingdon is currently recruiting for a Bilingual Accounts Assistant (German/English). The role will be intially be based remotely to conform with Covid guidelines however once restrictions are easer will move back into the office. This will be a permanent role with a 2 stage interview process. The role will part time 26.25 hours per week days negotiable. Sucessful candidates will be contacted by phonecall to discuss the steps in the applicaton process.Job DescriptionRole purpose We are looking for someone to assist in all areas of accounts, supporting the Finance Manager with all other areas of accounting. The role is varied and will expose the successful candidate to all areas of accounts and company information therefore experience handling confidential information is paramount. The position will initially focus on a sister company based in Berlin.Responsibilities: Reports to the finance manager and will be responsible for the following:

  • Sales Ledger, producing customer invoices, monitoring and chasing customer debts
  • Cash flow forecast
  • Bank reconciliations EURO
  • Assist in allocation of cash receipts
  • Period end journals
  • Any other ad hoc duties
  • Required Skills and Experience:
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in an accounts role
  • Experience of AX Dynamics or similar programmes
  • Advanced Excel and other Microsoft packages
  • Bilingual (German, English)
  • This is a permanent positionHours of work: 26.25 per week (3.5 days)
