* BI Developer* £55,000 - £60,000 Hybrid* Hybrid - 1-2 days per month in CambridgeshireA global sustainable solutions and product provider is seeking a BI Developer (using Power BI) to join their team on a permanent basis. The business is in the process of undergoing enterprise-level implementations, greenfield product builds, and new businessacquisitions.The role will involve supporting an experienced data and software development team, and the successful BI Developer will be integral in improving the businesss ability to make data-driven decisions. The position would suit a Power BI Developer with strongSQL skills, or a SQL Developer/Data Analyst with the ability to create interactive visualisations in Power BI.In addition to a competitive salary, the company offers a bonus scheme, private healthcare, a pension scheme (matched up to 10%), discounts on products, financial support, life insurance, 25 days of holiday, and much more.The successful BI Developer will have the following attributes:* 2+ years experience working with Power BI to create visualisations.* Commercial experience working with SQL for data analysis, cleansing, and extraction.* Experience working with Microsoft Azure.* Experience working with tools such as PowerPivot, Power Query, T-SQL, and Excel.* Strong communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholder groups.* An understanding of data warehousing is desirable, though not essential.They are a global business and industry leader that is continuing its rapid growth through acquisitions and organic customer growth. This is a newly created position that will support the business to modernise its infrastructure and continue to develop cutting-edgeproducts and solutions for both internal functions and customers.The successful BI Developer will be supported and mentored by an exceptional software development and data team, working on an enterprise-level Azure transformation program.
