Increasing velocity of the test tasks through the board whilst still providingconfidence to the Product Owner that what is being released is of a good quality.Test Automation & Manual Responsible for the production and maintenance of testing strategy/approach documentation for each product.Responsible for the creation and execution of test cases, reporting and testing bugs.Responsible for the selection or identification of those test cases requiring manual testing and those that can be automatedShared responsibility with the delivery team regarding testing strategies.Set up, maintain and operate test automation frameworks.Ability to build different test scenarios, acceptance tests and automate the generation of test data required.Ability to create and perform non-functional tests both manual and automation tests.Creation of exploratory testing charters.Lead on the utilisation of/communication with, 3rd party testing company to perform exploratory testing.To feed into the overall estimation planning regarding resource time and duration required for any tasks.Provide advice and support to enhance capability, quality and productivity. Actively participate in all aspects of the agile software delivery process (stand-ups, retros, planning etc.).Ensure policies, standards and procedures for production of the products are adhered to.Shared responsibility with the team for checking the quality and accuracy of your own, other team members work and documentation through peer reviews.Actively contribute to achieving "The Vision" of the software delivery team and being the voice to influence and drive change in the test arena Driving efficiency savings through automating what can be automated.Providing expertise to assist development of other team members through guidance, training and feedback.Development Areas Exploit all areas of testing automation ensuring that the balance is right so it doesnt become an overhead.Updating own knowledge of tool capabilities and new technologies to enable valued contribution to team/product delivery.Explore changes in testing best practices and advise on suitability to embrace these alongside business requirements.What does it take to be an Automated Software Test AnalystOur ideal candidate will have the confidence to own testing for the brand/product and be able to influence the delivery test regarding approach etc.Be able to give confidence to the product owner by producing coverage and test results reportsProven experience in one or more of the following - C#, BV.NET, Jaca, Python, Perl, Raku or similar, however having C# would be advantageous.Working with AGILE + DevOps process management methodology would be an advantageTesting methods preferably ISTQB CT-TAE certified or equivalentExperienced in the implementation of performance and smoke testingExperience in Behaviour Driven Development and Test Driven DevelopmentUse of Test Automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, NUnit, Specflow and PostmanFamiliar with cloud infrastructure either Azure or AWSWhy Tide Services TIDE Services Limited comprises of three diverse and interesting brands with each operating in an ever-changing and challenging market.
