1st Line Support TechnicianAlconbury, Huntingdon PE28, UKMM Flowers is a dynamic growing business supplying fresh cut flowers and bouquets from all over the world to the retail sector across the UK and Europe.The company operates from a state of the art facility in Alconbury, Huntingdon and is embarking on its next phase of growth as a leading firm across the industry.MM Flowers are seeking to add to the team a 1st Line Support Technician ready for a new opportunity in this dynamic and growing organisation.JOB TITLE: 1st Line Support TechnicianREPORTING TO: Head of ITDEPARTMENT: ITLOCATION: Alconbury, Huntingdon (travel may be required)MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Be the first line support for end users, responding to incidents and queries, logging them into the IT helpdesk system.- Responding to end users within agreed SLA’s to maintain service levels across the business.- Escalate user issues and queries to senior team members or external suppliers where appropriate.- Maintain, update and use solution articles in the IT helpdesk platform to allow the users to become more self-help orientated.- Always look at new ways of working, including utilising new technologies to bring efficiencies across the business to maximise the benefits of our IT investments.- Assist with best practice solutions and training of new ways of working to improve the use of technology across the business.- Ensure any new technology is fully tested and fit for purpose before delivering to the business- Produce and maintain a high level of documentation and diagrams for all network systems, updated as and when necessary.SKILLS & EXPERIENCE- IT literate, currently working in an IT support environment would be desirable but someone who demonstrates a good level of analytical and problem solving ability.- IT and numeracy literate and confident in a variety of IT systems.- Experience at communicating and working with Senior Management.- Self-confidence, quick starter and initiative to work with minimum supervision.- A well organised, detailed and structured method of working.- Experience of supporting internal IT systems, applications and users.PERSONAL PROFILE- Must have a polite and courteous manner with a can do’ attitude- Be a patient and credible solution provider- Confident working independently and well as within a team- Able to work accurately to tight timeframesClosing date for this vacancy is Friday 18th June 2021
