Office Assistant - Garage Equipment & MOT BayLocation: Hunslet, LeedsSalary: £23k to £25k + Excellent BenefitsWork from home but have to visit the office (when required) Keywords: Office Assistant, Office Administrator, Sales Support Administrator, Customer Service Administrator, Admin Assistant, Telephone, emails, DVSA, VT01, Garage equipment, MOT BayAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an Office Assistant to join an Independently Garage Equipment Supplier & MOT Bay Services Provider. Salary £23k to £25k Plus Excellent Benefits. The Office Assistant will provide administrative support to the sales team and management team and liaise with contractors, suppliers & engineers to make sure the work is done within the given time frame.Office Assistant Responsibility:

  • General day-to-day office tasks including filing, stock ordering, managing diaries and telephone answering or respond to incoming emails
  • Taking calls from sales leads and information gathering to pass to their sales team to follow the lead through to the closure of the sale
  • Liaising with customers and gathering the required documentation and information to submit the VT01 application to DVSA on their behalf.
  • Compile project plans by discussing the customers requirements with suppliers and contractors
  • Compile sales reports throughout the month and report at month end
  • Processing orders from point of sale through to delivery and installation & arranging project plans.
  • Organising appointments for their sales team
Requirements:
  • We are keen to speak to candidates who have previously worked as Office Assistant, Office Administrator, Sales Support Administrator, Customer Service Administrator, Admin assistant for a Garage equipment Supplier or MOT Bay services provider.
  • knowledge of the garage equipment industry
  • Knowledge of the DVSA VT01 application process(preferred).
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Own a vehicle to travel to and from the Leeds-based office when required
