Please visit strive . co . uk for additional roles across engineering, production, warehouse & transport operations.Distribution FLM Night Shift c£30k + BenefitsLeeds LS10Our client is medium sized, highly ethical, chilled food FMCG Distributor who are currently recruitin for a Transport FLM to manage the day to day distribution operations at their main site in Leeds on a Monday - Friday basis. The transport operation is complex as it runs on a collections basis back to the DC ready for the outbound vans daily drops.Summary: To supervise & monitor nightly distribution activities

Organize & manage busy distribution operation
Support in all aspects of the operation including on the yard.
Monitor and own certain business systems and processes of which are related to resource planning
Ensure all deliveries are planned and executed within SLA and to all customers standards
Audit team of drivers to ensure OTIF adherence
Ensure all company systems are used correctly in accordance with instructions of use.
Source local agency and, manage driver start times using T&A system
Liaise with drivers and operational team any and all amendments and optimization requirements
Supervise vehicle and driver compliance
Ensure all relevant distribution documentation is adequately complete to company standards
Point of contact for delivery issues escalating to relevant departments in a timely manner
Ensure legal compliance throughout daily activities and delegations
Assist with incident & accidents reports and investigations
Monitor staff overtime and working and other cost variables associated
Facilitate new driver recruitment and deliver end to end onboarding process
Analyze routing data to identify inefficiencies
Make decisions in absence of upper or senior management
Manage team members T & A (Time & Attendance) on relevant software in line with payroll cut offs
