As Metallurgical Quality Inspector you will be required to perform inspection of precision components and paperwork in line withpredefined specifications, to ensure confirming product is released into the business and to customers.The chance to work for a company with a fantastic track record in the training, technical development and retention of their staff. A great company who provide a very good benefits package for such a role and very popular among candidates.Responsibilities:Carry out range of metallographic and mechanical testing including macrostructure, microstructure inclusion, grain size, decarburisation, tensile, and hardness of final products.Assist Production and ensure heat treatment processes are in accordance with specifications.Ensure furnaces are maintained and calibrated prior to use.Ensure testing is carried out in accordance with the relevant procedure.Evaluate the results against the relevant specification.Ensure testing equipment is maintained and calibrated prior to use.Work in a safe and efficient manner.
