Job Description

HR & Training AdministratorLeeds based - Working from home / office£23000 - 25000 per annum. (12 month Contract role) Here at Howells we are working with a leading Contractor within the Social Housing sector to recruit a skilled and experienced HR & Training Administrator to join their team in Leeds. This is a full time, long term contract role.In this role you will be supporting the HR team with their day to day administration requirements. Working in a very busy HR team, the individual will need to help to manage an email inbox responding to a variety of queries and requests from employees andmanagers, including generalist HR, recruitment and training. Some duties include:

  • Training admin - we need someone who is very pro-active to arrange training including the end to end process of approval, booking, payment etc.
  • Recruitment admin - we need someone who understands the speed required to chase and track progress stages and to advise on next steps.
  • HR admin - we need someone who can offer generalist HR admin support from offer, contracts, changes, HR system updates, payroll liaison, leaver processing, TUPE admin, reward and benefit admin and deal with first line queries.
Experience Required:
  • Experience in HR administration
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent telephone call handling skills
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Intermediate Excel
  • Attention to detail
  • High standards
  • Confidence in challenging situations.
  • Accountability to resolve issues.
  • Proactive to drive forward continuous improvement.
