Working efficiently and safety in line with best practise to achieve an excellent customer experience. This role may operate across multiple contracts.GroundworkerKey Responsibilities:- Manage all tools and equipment necessary for ground work.- Concreting - layering and smoothing concrete for foundations, floors and beams- Road working - concreting, laying kerbs, paving and resurfacing- Flagging and Fencing- Boundary Fencing- Minor brickwork repairs- Ensuring all PPE is provided and present prior to engaging on task- Ensuring you have materials and equipment provided before you undertake task- Ensuring that the task is deliverable within the time allocation- Ensuring all works do not present a hazard or danger to others- Ensuring all H&S documentation (RAMS) are present prior to engaging on task- Ensuring asbestos survey is present prior to undertaking works- Ensuring all certifications for plant is present and up to date prior to use- Produce concise and accurate data records through PDA / mobile communication systems and reporting, including feedback on vulnerabilities within the community, the use of labour and materials and if tasks are deliverable in the time allocationGroundworkerYou:- Must have full UK driver license- Ability to work in all weather- Workers must be punctual and reliable- Previous experience as a qualified Ground worker in the construction industry preferred- Ability to use hand tools- Ability to operate small hand held plant such as drills and breakers etc.- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions- NVQ level 2 in construction- NVQ level 2 in plant operations- CSCS Blue Skilled Worker CardThe following behaviour principles are important to this role:- Put customers first- Do the right thing- Are passionate about what we do- Grow together- Strive to be sustainable- Build your career with a leading property services company, where we recognise that diversity of thought and talented people are key to our successGroundworkerBenefits:- 23 days holiday plus bank holidays- Company uniform- Pension plan- Accident cover- Life assurance- Company van (work use only)- Training and development- Funded professional subscription- Share save- Work Perks discount and offer scheme- Extensive wellbeing benefits and resources including online advice, guides, counselling support, 24hr digital GP, cycle to work, paid voluntary work, enhanced family polices- We will accommodate requests for flexible working where possibleMSPS are proud to support the resettlement of armed forces personnel.To submit your application for this exciting Groundworker opportunity, please click Apply now to be redirected to our website.
