Accounts & Office AdministratorLeicestershire LE7 (Rural Location)PermanentOffice BasedMon – Fri 37.5 hours per week, start and finish times to suitThe Opportunitynewly created, the role is required due to ongoing business growth, diversification and development of new markets. How this role looks now is likely to change over the next 24 – 36 months, evolving onto something more Office Management. Scope for progression.The RoleYour primary role is to be responsible for the day to day maintaining of the office. From Front of house to liaising with suppliers and clients alike, you’ll be directed by the Office Manager (with a need and encouragement to use your initiative). You’ll inaddition be supporting the Office Manager in accounts administration, raising and processing invoices and reconciling transactions.There’s also be junior PA duties, looking after diaries, scheduling and facilitating travel and accommodation arrangements, supporting company events.In summary, a junior role but a real key one for this business to enable the wheels of the business to true much more smoothly.The CandidateYou’ll be able to demonstrate experience within a broad role, probably gained within a SME environment. Where elements can be trained, key to this role is having a “roll your sleeves up, no job too small” attitude. Able and willing to learn new things, be ITliterate and be agile across the back-office needs of a business. Experienced in Administration, a stable work history and importantly be versatile.We do want you to have experience in accounts. We don’t want you to be an accounting or aspiring to become one, but we do want you to know what to do with invoices from a bookkeeping perspective and know what a computerised accounts system looks like. Xeroideally however Sage, Quickbooks or similar are fine.The BenefitsSalary guide c£25k pending level of experience, free parking, 20 days holiday + Bank hols. Note, due to the rural location of this business (LE7 Houghton, Hungarton, Barsby, Beeby areas) you’ll need to drive and have your own transport
