Job Description

Payroll ManagerHullUp to £30,000Temp to Perm opportunity Chase & Holland are proud to be working with a large, well-established organisation in Hull who are a regional leader in their sector as well as having an exemplary track record for providing a great service. They are currently recruiting a Payroll Managerto provide high quality payroll service for the organisation and any relevant subsidiaries. This role will suit an experienced Payroll professional with the ability to control the payroll function for the organisation.Payroll Manager responsibilities include:

  • Manage two payrolls from start to finish
  • Setting up and maintaining new starters and processing leavers
  • Managing pension scheme process and calculating holiday pay
  • Calculating and processing of SSP and SMP in line with current legislation
  • Producing and distributing payslips and all relevant documentations e.g. P45s
  • Monthly reconciling for the payroll controls
  • Dealing with any payroll related queries
  • Supporting the internal and external audit process
The ideal candidate:
  • Solid experience in an end to end payroll focused role
  • Keen eye for detail with the ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • An enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to manage their own workload
