Job Description

Were delighted to be recruiting for a Materials Controller for our expanding manufacturing company based in Hull, East Yorkshire.The company is a market leading manufacturer in the automotive sector. The company is undergoing a massive expansion due to orders doubling over the last few years.Job OverviewThe purpose of this role is to co-ordinate the materials flow between two manufacturing sites in the Hull area.The role will require a person with good interpersonal skills, dealing with a variety of departments and products, having good organisational skills is essential.Key Duties and Responsibilities Required

  • Co-Ordination of Materials
  • Marshalling of Materials
  • Quality Check of Materials
  • Loading/Unloading of Materials
  • Delivery of Materials
  • Stock control of Materials
Training, Experience and Knowledge required:
  • Have a valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence
  • Have a full UK driving licence and be able to drive long wheel based vans
  • Good IT skills
  • Excellent appreciation of safety, including specific area accident and emergency procedures.
  • Understand product drawings and be able to use them to assess correctness of work.
  • Good and effective approach to team-working.
