Job Description

Key Account ManagerCorrugated PackagingExternal Sales / Field Sales RepresentativeArea: North England (Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle)Company: Corrugated PackagingSalary: £50,000 - £55,000 Per annumBenefits: 25 days annual holiday plus 8 public days, Healthcare plan, Sickness Absence Scheme, Life AssuranceBonus: 20% of salary minimum annuallyCompany: Well established business with 5+ offices in the UK, almost 1000 employees, multiple manufacturing facilities and have been going for over 50 years.We are scouting for our next Field Sales individual who has experience in selling corrugated packaging.We sell fully recyclable products such as transit cases, retail ready packaging and boxes tailored to the customer.Core Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining your own pipeline to deliver your own budget and ensuring that SLA`s and stock agreements are adhered to, for the benefit of both parties
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications and maintaining personal networks.
  • Ensure that your sales pipeline is maintained accurately and fit for your regions and documented in 1-2-1 meetings with Regional Sales Manager
  • Develop and communicate with the Regional Sales Manager and Head of UK Sales a clear sales strategy for your area.
  • Ensure that all of your, customer contracts and agreements are filed and maintained on the public drive and that all Paper Price Index reviews are carried out and applied in accordance with the customers SLA
  • Ensure that the businesses sales strategy is carried out at a regional, local and personal level
  • Develop a relationship with your local Operations & Conversion Managers to understand the needs of the factories.
  • Preparing sales reports and submitting them in a timely manner
  • Communicating with current and new customers to determine their needs
  • Promptly responding to customer requests
  • Maximising growth potential of our customers within the division
  • Collecting customer feedback as well as market research.
Experience Required:
  • Corrugated Packaging Sales experience is essential
