A leading client of mine in the manufacturing industry is looking to add to their team a Senior Management Accountant.As Senior Management Accountant you willlead the Accounting Function in the UK. Take ownership of areas such as month-end and VAT Reporting. This role is ideal for a Part-Qualified/Qualified or Newly qualified Accountant who is keen to progress their careerin the dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities include, Full ownership of Month-end closure and Cognos Reporting. Balance Sheet reconciliations. VAT Returns for UK and Ireland. Intrastat Reporting. Day-to-day Management of Shared Services Centre: Accounts Payable. Fixed Assets including IFRS16. Employee expenses and Concur expert user. Aiba (purchase order system) expert user. Preparation of Statutory Accounts Management of External Audit. Internal Policies & Control. Calculation and ownership of Stock Provision. SAP Price Maintenance. Customer Agreement Set-UP Ad-hoc duties to support Leader, Finance UKKey Deliverables : Good understanding of P&L, Balance sheet and double entry and ability to meet reporting deadlines. Degree qualified in Finance, Accounting or something similar. Part-Qualified, Newly-Qualified or Qualified ACCA or CIMA. 2-3 Years experience in a similar role. Excel expert includinding advanced SUMIF, Vlookup and Pivot Tables.
