Job Description

THIS IS AN IMMEDIATE POSITION - 6 MTHS INTERIM ROLEBe responsible for implementing controlling objectives, plans, and processes for a specific business area(s) of small/medium scale complexity. They will coordinate and prepare the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances. The Controlling Analystwill also perform regular controlling processes, including alignments and documentation: actuals reporting, estimate, planning. They will conduct analysis of complex data and prepare forecasts, reports, and recommendations to provide information for managementdecision making. The Controlling Analyst will ensure transparency on entity as well as business model level (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement). They will also regularly forecast sales with the sales team that includes monthly analysis of revenue andpreparation of the commission file to the MD.Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze issues and suggest enhancements in existing controlling processes, systems, techniques, and methods to enhance transparency and efficiency.
  • Assist the Head of Finance to coordinate month-end and year-end close process.
  • Prepare post-month-end analysis, reports, and comments in relation to forecast, plan, and prior year.
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly management reports for MD and Central finance in Germany.
  • Implement controlling and budgeting policies, procedures, and methods for reporting, forecasting, and preparing planning information.
  • Execute policies related to financial area, budgets/plan, and general costs for preparation of statements necessary for budget control.
  • Co-ordinate cost allocation and profitability analysis in relevant systems.
  • Completion of periodic forms from National statistics on behalf of entity.
  • Be part of the project team to migrate to new systems and processes.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.3+ years of experience in controlling, finance, or accounting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
