Job Description

We Do Group are delighted to be supporting a group of companies in Hounslow, recruiting a Payroll & Benefits Manager to work across the group of 5 companies.This is sole position where you will work with two outsourced bureaus across 5 complex payrolls of varying frequencies. One of the businesses has a large number of casual staff who carry out a variety of roles at different pay levels, on an ad-hoc basis.The business offer a good level of flexibility (50/50 WFH) and give autonomy to perform your work as you see fit, improving processes and efficiencies along the way.Hybrid: 50/50 work from homeTravel: As required across sites in West LondonSalary: £50,000 - £58,000The RolePayroll Processing

  • Responsible for processing payroll accurately and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Calculating and verifying employee wages, bonuses, overtime, and deductions
  • Work with payroll software to streamline the process and ensure accurate record-keeping
Benefits Administration
  • Manage the employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits
  • Includes enrolment, changes, and terminations, as well as answering employee questions and resolving any issues related to benefits
  • Seek to maximise 3rd party agreements and design schemes that are attractive to employees
Compliance
  • Stay up to date with payroll & tax regulations, and other relevant legislation to ensure compliance
Record-Keeping
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
  • Including payroll records, benefits enrolment forms, and other related documentation
Reporting
  • Lead on generating and evaluating reports related to payroll, benefits costs, and other relevant metrics
  • These reports support management in making informed decisions and ensure financial accountability
Communication
  • Interact with employees regarding payroll and benefits-related inquiries, such as discrepancies or benefit plan details
  • Communicate with external vendors, such as insurance providers or retirement plan administrators
System and Process Improvement
  • Continuously evaluating and improving payroll and benefits processes
  • Identifying opportunities for automation, implementing new systems/software, or streamlining procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Employee Education
  • Educate employees on payroll processes, benefits options, and any changes in policies or regulations
  • Conducting training sessions, creating informational materials, or providing individual guidance
Your Profile
  • Strong payroll background
  • Effective communicator - written & verbally
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Proud of your work and willing to go the extra mile
  • Proactive problem solver
