Radar Recruitment are working with an exciting manufacturing business, who are on an excellent trajectory and have great expansion plans for the future. The business have developed a strong reputation within their industry producing a range of products into different industries. This is an exciting, newly created Operations Manager role to really focus on taking the business from good to great and to that next level!The business are a relatively well oiled engine, but as with most things, there are absolutely opportunities to improve. You must have a track record improving processes and driving a culture of lean/continuous improvement throughout your career, with a clear vision to be able to deliver this in a forward thinking organisation.As an SME manufacturer, the team is very moderate in size with around 20-30 people falling under your management. Whilst no two days will be the same, you need to be able to consistently drive performance and promote best practice within the team.You will also ensure health and safety, maintenance and quality are consistently at a high level, whilst being responsible for day to people management issues (resource planning, training/development and KPIs, etc)We are looking for Manufacturing Operations Manager who can demonstrate the following:
