Job Description

IN2Consult / Customs Executive / Hounslow / FMCG / Food ManufacturerIN2Consult are currently recruiting for a Customs Executive to join a well known food manufacturer, based in Hounslow.As the Customs Executive, you will be mainly responsible for the management of all aspects of customs logistics when moving goods from GB to Ireland, supporting local teams and 3rd party logistic partners (3PL) to ensure they maintain the correct processes.You will manage direct deliveries from our European Factories to our Irish warehouse, run by our 3rd party logistic provider, as well as provide cover for the CS and consumer roles within the team.We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, a self starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and good attention to detail.Export and Import declarations for goods movements from GB to IE:You will provide import and export customs services within agreed SLAs and ensure that all submissions of declarations and reports are completed on time.Direct deliveries ex Factories to Ireland:You will work closely with factories and 3PLs to coordinate inbound logistics to achieve the required supply levels.Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience Required -

  • Needs to have excellent attention to detail - High level of accuracy right first time is very important.
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise key tasks to support with the smooth running of theoperations. Ability to coordinate several aspects of the role at the same time, keeping all partiesinformed with correct information.

  • Experience with CRM systems and SAP, Proficient use of IT systems.
  • There will also be some ad-hoc jobs within the office as we continue to grow, so we are lookingfor people with some flexibility too.
