Our client are a dynamic and forward thinking independent health club operator. They are currently looking to recruit a Club Manager for their facility in Cardiff.Key Responsibilities:Leading, coaching, developing, supporting and inspiring a small team of gym supervisors, fitness coaches and personal trainers.Ensuring Staff are adequately trained in all aspects, including sales, conducting gym tours are fully aware of brand message and ethos.Staff recruitment, performance management and discipline as necessary.Ensure members have a memorable customer experience with each and every visit to keep them coming back for more.Driving new member sales initiatives through sales planning, in-reach and outreach activity.Developing and managing daily procedures, ensuring equipment is well maintained.Evaluating and developing the fitness product offering including group exercise.Managing gym budget and coordinating the purchase of gym equipmentEnsuring the club is well maintained, clean, health and safety compliant and maintaining brand standards at all times.Overseeing and delegating cleaning duties to gym staff as well as managing the rota.Managing the staff, administrative functions including ensuring policies and procedures are up to date, managing the CRM, and overseeing promotional activities to increase gym membership ensuring the gym profitability.Create a fun environment for team members and members and instill a strong sense of community with events and challenges.We are looking to speak to candidates who are dynamic, focussed and passionate about delivering excellence within a fitness arena. You must have a minimum 6 months health club managment experience. You will have excellent people, operational and commercialmanagement skills.
