Working with a world leading airport services business, Premier Work Support are delighted to have opportunities for Airside Drivers to join the team driving airside at one of the worlds busiest airports, Heathrow. Due to the work been airside you are able to join the team without having to have completed your HGV2 licensing & CPC training prior to starting. Full training and assessment will be provided making this a unique opportunity for Drivers wanting to develop their Driving careers and gain HGV experience. For current HGV Drivers who want to escape days spent working on the public highways getting stuck trying to make multiple deliveries this is a great opportunity to develop your driving career in a different environment. You will be collecting and delivering cargo to planes which will be palletised and / or bagged. This role will involve manual handling and you will be outdoors in all weathers making sure airline customers received the highest levels of service. Work is on a shift basis working on a 6 on, 3 off shift pattern of 3 early and 3 late shifts. Start times could be 4.30am for early or 12.30pm for late shifts. Shifts are usually 8 hours with potential for overtime as required. These roles are temp to perm and we want Drivers who want a full time permanent job. You must have a full UK Driving License with no more than 3 points and ideally a commercial driving background. Jobs are subject to successfully passing training and your airside driving permit. A full security screening process is required so you must be able to provide a full and checkable history for at least the previous 5 years. Required skills
