The successful candidate will lead the Marketing side of the business, manage the team, and work with the Senior Leadership team to understand the vision, strategy and direction of the business in order for us to achieve our ambitions. We’re proud that just meeting expectations is not good enough and in fact we’re insistent on high performance.In this role you will be responsible for:

  • All digital activity across our Marketing department
  • Identification, implementation and execution of our multi-channel customer acquisition and retention strategy
  • Acquiring new customers at the lowest CPA, whilst increasing LTV and AOV
  • Performance of the Footy.com website and all KPIs associated with it
  • Managing the services of partner agencies, making sure we achieve best value for money and high performance every time
  • Leading and developing the Marketing team to ensure success
  • Acquisition and conversion performance
  • Understanding, managing and optimising the customer journey

  • Hands-on digital b2c retail marketing/ecommerce experience
  • Management experience
  • A strong understanding of digital and mobile, with experience of designing and executing campaigns across multiple digital channels
  • Comfortable with a million-pound marketing budget
  • A strong understanding of CRM
  • Expertise in Google Analytics and customer sales funnels
  • An understanding of key CRO principles and how they are applied
  • Commercially focused and numbers driven, with the ability to accurately determine ROI and ROAS
  • Extensive experience in both Organic and Paid Social channels, particularly Facebook Ads Manager
  • Good working knowledge of SEO & PPC principles from both a content and technical perspective
