Position Type : Full time Type Of Hire : Experienced (relevant combo of work and education) Education Desired : Bachelor of Computer Science Travel Percentage : 0%About the team FIS Securities Finance & Collateral help banks and financial institutionsmanage their entire Securities Finance value chain using the best of breed software solutions in the market.Job Description The Securities Finance Product Analyst must have experience and a proven knowledge of the Securities Finance (Securities Lending & Repo)and associated Collateral Management. Knowledge of FIS Securities Finance products would also be beneficial. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of Product Analysts supporting the Securities Finance & Collateral Product suite. The candidatewill work closely with the Product Manager, Product Owner and Development teams to manage all functional business requirements from designing solutions, writing functional specifications to implementation and development of the requirement. FIS utilize theSCRUM methodology to develop software which will consist of improvements and assisting with defect resolution when necessary. The job also entails client facing work which included requirements gathering, product and functional demonstrations, change controlreviews and managing individual client demands.Responsibilities Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Devisesor modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering limitations, operation time and form of desired results. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements and translation into system requirement specifications.Analyzes marketplace, industry, company, technology trends and best practices, vendor products and services, etc. Analyzes and documents business processes and metrics, and identifies improvement opportunities. Re-engineers processes to delivergreater effectiveness and efficiency. Identifies/documents how applications and systems interact to support business processes. Assesses, applies and projects the impact of system changes on users and internal / external clients or stakeholders.Uses knowledge of systems and industry requirements to develop or modify complex information systems. A member of a dedicated scrum team, acting as the contact for business / functional related queries. Writes and assists team with test plansand test cases to ensure changes which are made to the application meet client needs and that application integrity is maintained. Verifies through testing that changes made by programmers to one part of the application do not impact other parts.Reports and reviews testing results. Liaise with Support team on client queries and functional information. Trains internal employees or external clients on changes, new systems or new procedures.May mentor, guide, advise and/or checkthe work of less experienced business systems analysts. Considers business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment. Other related duties assigned as needed. Some travel (less than 5%)General Knowledge,Skills & Abilities Solid experience and knowledge in the Securities Finance market Knowledge of FIS products and services Experience in Software Development Lifecycle and software environment Proficiency in solutions design andrequirements definition disciplines leveraging model driven design based tools and techniques including conceptual solution component models, business process models, use cases, etc. Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customersatisfaction for internal and external clients Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors Willingly sharesrelevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other resources Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team and time management skills Ability to estimate work effort for project sub-plans or small projects andensure the project is successfully completedEducation Requirements Bachelors degree in computer science or information systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
