Job Description

My client, an award winning company based in Horsham, is looking for a Front End Developer to join their innovative team.Location: HorshamSalary:£45-55,000pa DOE plus excellent benefitsHours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pmKey Duties: -

  • Using HTML/JSX/Pug, CSS/LESS/SASS to turn designs and/or wireframes into something real
  • JavaScript front-end development using frameworks such as React or Angular
  • Working as a part of a larger multi-disciplined team using agile development methodologies
  • Back-end JavaScript development (node.js), API design, front-end framework development
  • Collaborating with Product Owners for UX / UI design
  • Working on the Technical Steering Team to help shape the technologies and frameworks we use
    • The perfect candidate will ideally have the following skills / experience: -
  • An exceptional understanding of modern web design - HTML, CSS, responsive design
  • Experience building sites / SPAs with a JavaScript front-end framework such as React, Angular or Vue
  • Experience with node.js, npm / yarn
  • Experience with build systems such as webpack, grunt or gulp
  • Experience with ES6
  • An understanding of modern web back-end architecture - HTTP, REST, OAuth
  • A solid working knowledge of git for source control
  • Design/UX experience
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
