Transformer Winder and AssemblerHorsham, West SussexTo c£28k neg dep exp + benefitsOur prestigious niche sector client are market leaders in their field and provide highest quality solutions to customers throughout the world. Established for over a quarter of a century, as a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Transformer Winder and Assembler to complement their professional production team.Based in Horsham and working on a 37.5 hour week - Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm basis - the successful Transformer Winder and Assembler candidate will be tasked with performing a range of bobbin / transformer winding and assembly tasks, utilising established techniques and identifying any improvements that could be implemented in order to enhance existing procedures.You will become familiar with all of the company products, components and assembly stages involved in the product range in order to ensure that manufactured products consistently meet the highest company standards, whilst complying with relevant procedures, practices and appropriate company and manufacturing industry legislation, and will work closely with the management team to ensure awareness and compliance with these across the business (including but not limited to CE, H&S, recycling and waste management etc).You will attend courses and training as necessary in order to perform your duties fully and expand your knowledge and experience in line with the needs of the business and will develop your skills and understanding of circuitry and transformers in order to ensure the quality of build, and potentially identify any errors before they go on to be tested.To be considered for this varied and challenging Transformer Winder and Assembler role, you will essentially demonstrate at least 2 years previous Bobbin / Transformer winding experience, a meticulous approach to detail, hand soldering experience and excellent dexterity with the ability to stand for lengthy periods of time, with previous experience of WT300 Winding Technology, ELMER and RUFF winding machinery proving distinctly advantageous for the manufacture of transformers and foil capacitors.You will demonstrate a flexible approach to work in other departments at times of increased demand (Packing / Goods-in / Out Departments) and may be required to aid the Technical and Production team in improving / updating instructional documentation for the Company Products you assemble as required.Contact the Maintenance Team at Premier Technical Recruitment on or email your cv in confidence to for further details.
