Job Description

To be responsible for overseeing the site operations on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that work is done safely, on time and within budget and to the right quality standards.Health and Safety

  • Implementation of HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality) and business systems
  • Ensure the delivery team have all relevant PPE and make regular checks that they are wearing it
  • Ensure appropriate signage is clearly displayed on sites
  • Ensure maintenance of safe environment for tenants and members of the public
  • Ensure welfare is maintained at end of working day
  • Project Management & Delivery
  • Carry out initial project brief with Management to determine method of works, phasing and programme of works
  • Collate all required information from the client, i.e. drawings/ specifications etc. to plan works appropriately on site
  • Produce Short Term Schedule of Works based on the master programme
  • Identify materials required to carry out the works, liaise with office to place orders and ensure supplies are delivered in good condition
  • Ensure that all tasks are complete to the required standard and on time
  • Identify labour requirements to carry out the works and inform the office of any additional requirements
  • Maintain service delivery and key performance reporting
  • Carry out weekly stock takes
  • Produce weekly reports and send them to line manager
  • Managing others
  • Organise workflow and ensure that employees and subcontract staff understand their duties or delegated tasks
  • Monitor employee and subcontract productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
  • Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with the company’s plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates and subcontract staff
  • Supporting the project delivery team in their daily project administrative tasks as required
  • Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises
  • Supporting the delivery team to maintain excellent standards of good housekeeping, PPE and communication when working in occupied and void homes
  • Representation
  • Understand the company’s obligations under the contract
  • Ensure compliance with Ventro processes and procedures at all times
  • Maintain a presentable image by adherence to the Ventro dress code
  • Promote the profile of Ventro
  • Promote a clear focus on quality assurance, service accessibility and responsiveness, maximising client involvement and feedback
  • Engage actively with key Clients
  • Attend Client and communication events, open days, meetings and conferences if required
  • Promote customer service excellence throughout the project
  • Supporting the project and the business in community initiatives, events, new business and customer care

  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with all members of the team
  • Lead daily / weekly site team management meetings using established processes
  • Relay information from Senior Management to employees and site personnel, and vice versa Required skills
