Job Description

24 Month Fixed Term Contract - £27,401 - SouthwaterOur client, a market leading not for profit organization, is currently hiring for a Service Desk Analyst to join their team with the responsibility of handling technical incidents/requests, and where appropriate, provide an interface for other activities(change, problem, and configuration ect.)Key skills/experience for the Service Desk Analyst

  • Experience of working with third party IT providers to report, escalate and resolve issues
  • Experience in using helpdesk applications to log and monitor support calls.
  • Extensive knowledge of Information Technologies, including the following: Active Directory, PC hardware, Office 365 and windows
  • Excellent communication skills - ability to explain technical details to non-technical customers
Key accountabilities for the Service Desk Analyst
  • Deal with incoming calls to the IT Service Desk ensuring requests are interpreted correctly and recorded accurately, making consistent and effective use of the IT call-logging software
  • Review Incidents and requests with staff and work together to continuously improve service delivery provision
  • Provide first and second line support through the call-logging software and on-site and ensure Incidents and requests are resolved and implemented to agreed standards and timescales
  • Perform agreed system/database administration and housekeeping tasks and routine operations to agreed standards and timescales
