You will be patient and compassionate and, most of all, dependableworking hard to forge a much-needed relationship of trust withthose in your care.This will involve learning about the young persons interests as well as their dislikes and their triggers, using that connection as a launchpad for a rewarding relationship. A passion for this kind of relationship-building is essential.You will be responsible for the wellbeing of the children or young people in your care. This will include chaperoning the children to appointments and activities, completing relevant paperwork, undertaking household tasks, and where appropriate administeringmedication.
