School Nurse - Horsham, West SussexRequired from April 2021Term Time onlyOur client’s School is in many ways unique, offering an independent education of the highest calibre to children with academic potential, from all walks of life in a caring, boarding and day environment. Everyone employed by the School has a direct or indirect impact on the pupils who live and study there.They require a Registered Nurse to join a small, friendly team of school nurses, housekeepers and administrative staff. Our school Medical Centre is operational 24 hours per day, 7 days a week during term time and generally staff work a mixture of day and night shifts.The successful candidate will work a full time shift pattern of 46 hours per week, including evenings and overnight. Work includes caring for pupils in our in-patient unit, taking daily surgeries and being available to give health advice to the pupils.Flexibility, good communication skills and the confidence to work unsupervised are essential.
