Job Description

Job RequirementsRetail Delivery ManagerAre you experienced in Retail or F&B and looking to Grow with Gatwick.The commercial function is responsible for driving income from passengers, airlines and on-airport partners.What will you doThe Retail business plan will be achieved by the successful delivery of capital projects to optimise the existing commercial space and the identification of new spaces that add incremental footprint to retail across both terminals, as Retail Delivery Manageryou will be instrumental in delivering this.The retail delivery manager will take accountability for managing the successful interfacing with GAL development and construction teams to deliver GAL funded cap ex projects and will ensure the delivery of the concessionaire fit outs of projects linked toGAL funded capex alongside supporting the broader retail projects team to deliver all projects where needed.What is the role

  1. Manages concept deliverysuch as: S&C packs, concept reviews, ensuring GAL expectations are clear ensuring Gatwicks projects are well managed and simple for concessionaires to work with
  2. Supports the scoping and building of retail capex business cases that are taken forward for approval providing excellent business case development and optioneering
  3. Responsible for the delivery of retail project programmes in relation to concessionaires fit out to deliver within budget
  4. Works to safeguard all aspects of EHS at all times
  5. Responsible for project close out in a timely manner of all projects and associated governance

  • Organised andable to set a structure for internal and external teams to work to.
  • Innovative and resilient in find solutions to problems that are presented during project delivery.
  • Project manager qualifications e.g. Prince 2 / APM etc
  • Degree in a relevant field is desired.
  • Lean six sigma or equivalent is desired.
