Why your role mattersYour role will be crucial role in assisting our HR Consultants team in delivering services to our HR Retained Clients and ad hoc HR Project Clients. It involves collaborating with our HR & Recruitment Coordinators to execute client transactional HR administrationthroughout the employment lifecycle and recruitment processes. What you’ll be doingIn the role of HR Advisor, you will provide support to WorkNest clients on employee relations issues such as disciplinary actions, capability assessments, absence management, and grievances. Your responsibilities extend to providing hands-on support to theHR Consultants in implementing small-scale redundancy, organisational restructuring plans, or client projects (e.g., redundancy consultations). This may involve attending meetings, recording notes, and generating all necessary documentation to ensure legalcompliance for the client.You will monitor client emails and promptly addressing queries on various employment law and HR lifecycle matters as part of your role, managing client expectations to ensure service excellence.Furthermore, you will play a key role in developing and reviewing contracts of employment, policies, and procedures. This includes crafting staff handbooks that mirror or enhance the clients organisational culture while aligning with legal requirements. Youwill be responsible for calculating client employee holiday entitlements on a pro-rated basis for mid-year starters and leavers, considering various work patterns in both days and hours. Additionally, youll handle the calculation of redundancy and noticeentitlements for redundancy projections, demonstrating the ability to confidently explain these calculations to clients as needed.Where you’ll be workingThis is a hybrid role with an office base in Horsham (a minimum of one day per week in the office, with the rest of the week remote). That way, you’ll be able to work collaboratively with colleagues to effectively deliver our services, while also having somequieter time to focus on your workload without distraction.What’s in it for you
