Cosmetic Chemist - SkincareMontagne Jeunesse / Seventh HeavenFMCG - Health and Beauty – Skin Care – Horsham West Sussex Montagne Jeunesse is a UK based Cosmetics company specialising in fast moving, mass market, natural, vegetarian skincare for 30 years with distribution channels in over 85 countries.We now have an excellent opportunity for an Cosmetic Chemist, based in Horsham.As a member of the laboratory team, you will help take products from concept to launch. Ensuring great textures, fragrance, claims and customer satisfaction.You will have an enthusiastic, creative approach and bring innovative thinking and ideas and ideally be experienced in skin care products, including face masks. Creating wonderful products which are effective and attractive using a wide selection of raw materials and natural ingredients.This role would be the ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or equivalent. We are looking for an individual with practical skills, a creative approach, willingness to learn and gain real hands-on formulation and delivery experience within the FMCG arena.Requirements:Ideally educated to degree level in Chemistry, Cosmetic science or similar.Genuine interest in the Cosmetic market.Ideally experience in a laboratory setting.Evidence of formulating or practical “making” skills.Analytical/planning skills.A willing to learn and a strong attention to detail.Comfortable using data systems.Good communicator and team orientatedPersonally, you will have a positive can-do approach, and a flexibility to adapt to changing demands and priorities.
