Job Description Morgan McKinleys Business Support team are recruiting for an Hybrid Corporate Action Analyst to work with our client based in the Horsham. Morgan McKinleys Business Support team are recruiting for an Hybrid Corporate Action Analyst to work with our client based in the Horsham. Seeking an experienced Hybrid Corporate Action Analyst to lead the identification and creation of corporate events. In this role, you will be responsible for obtaining authorised decisions from investment sources and executing Corporate Action instructions.Your key contribution will be ensuring the timely and accurate updating of Corporate Action movements, reflecting your dedication to precision and efficiency in this critical domain. Job Title - Corporate Action Analyst Length - Permanent Salary - £40,000 - £45,000k DOE Location - Horsham - 3 days in the office 2 from home. DESCRIPTION. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to.
  • Identify and validate new event sources from various financial institutions and data vendors.
  • Create comprehensive Corporate Action records in our system, aligning options across multiple financial partners.
  • Ensure timely availability of event details to investment teams.
  • Manage Fund Manager decisions on elective events.
  • Reconcile holdings between financial institutions and our systems, addressing discrepancies.
  • Prepare and dispatch accurate instructions to financial partners promptly.
  • Confirm successful transmission of instructions and receipt of non-default instructions.
  • Handle compliance warnings on securities during corporate events.
  • Meet all deadlines, adhering to procedures and controls.
  • Maintain thorough documentation per procedures, ensuring timely event closure.
  • Proactively escalate potential issues to mitigate risks.
  • Address stock and cash breaks resulting from event bookings.
  • Provide team coverage as required.
  • Identify and act on key criteria and in-scope events for transition activity.
PROFILETo be considered for this role, you must:
  • Proficient in global Corporate Actions operations.
  • Skilled in handling Equities, Bonds, and CFDs.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end Corporate Action processes, covering both Mandatory and Voluntary events, along with a keen understanding of their impact on business partners and clients.
  • Possess strong numerical skills and the capability to generate high-quality Management Information System (MIS) reports, coupled with a natural aptitude for root cause analysis.
