We are recruiting for a compliance assistant / pa for a client based in Horsham that is seeking additional admin / pa support for the Senior Management team that are based from the Horsham office.This is an exciting role for someone who is seeking a career role that has development opportunities within a company that will support you if that is your career goal. Or it is also suitable for someone who is seeking something that is suitable for thelong term and is happy to stay in the same role.The duties are:Booking of travel, accommodation etc for all members of the Compliance Department. Diary management for Compliance Managers where required, particularly relating to monthly.Schedule departmental meetings / training as required, book meeting rooms.Preparation of any required purchase orders for department.Submit applications to the FCA for regulatory approval and liaise with the FCA when applications become non-standard.Assist the Authorisations & Approvals Manager in the collating of Management Information.Booking of Appointed Representative Periodic Risk Assessments visits and coordinating paperwork and remedial action resulting from these visitsProcess applications through to appointment of Appointed Representative Firms, their Registered Individuals and Introducers.What you need to apply:Skills / QualificationsPrevious experience within a business administration role preferably within Financial Services is desirable.A confident individual possessing a sound systematic and methodical approach to work, possessing the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and in all media types. Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.A basic knowledge and understanding of the Financial Services Industry.Essential Practical SkillsExcellent communication skillsProficient IT Skills to include experience of Word, Excel and OutlookGood investigative skills and use of initiative
