Job Description

An opportunity for a West Sussex-based Senior Commercial Account Handler seeking a career change with a forward-thinking insurance broking firm. Youll work on allocated cases across a variety of sectors in a role where youll work closely with an AccountExecutive within this well established and growing brokerageAs a Senior Commercial Account Handler, you will:

  • Provide a high level of professional advice and all-round excellent level of service in all aspects of the client relationship. Answering general enquiries, renewals midterm adjustments as well as obtaining quotations
  • Handle a varied range of new business enquiries and presentations to market and identify cross selling opportunities where appropriate
  • Act as a technical referral point within a well-established commercial team and offer guidance to less experienced team members
  • Be challenged professionally, with a varied case load of cross class Business clients paying premiums from SME to in excess of £1million
You will be:
  • A professional Insurance Account Handler, Broker or Client Executive seeking to progress your career or an insurance professional from another discipline keen to develop a career in a customer servicing role
  • Interested in joining a leading firm that will value your input and commit to training & development
  • Hold a good knowledge of cross class commercial insurance classes with a number of years experience and a positive approach
  • Ideally professionally qualified with either Cert CII or Dip CII qualifications
  • Motivated by sourcing and providing solid insurance advice and solutions for your clients
  • Be commutable to the Crawley area
