Job Description

Job Title: Caretaker / Maintenance PersonLocation: HornchurchRemuneration: Competitive salaryContract Details: Part-time (21 hours per week) permanent positionIf you are friendly and dedicated, with experience in maintenance and caretaking roles, we would like to hear from you! Join our clients team and make a difference in the lives of their residents.Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the premises and grounds to a high standard, creating a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.
  • Perform basic electrical checks on equipment and ensure it is visually inspected for any signs of damage.
  • Carry out fire checks, including the alarm system, fire extinguishers, and fire doors, and record findings.
  • Conduct monthly checks on emergency lights and water temperature.
  • Address minor repairs, fix small leaks, and perform general maintenance and upkeep duties.
