You will join us as a Project Technician where you will plan, monitor and manage internal projects from initiation through to completion ensuring on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs.Project Technician Responsibilities:- Project Management of Capex Projects, Maintenance Projects and continuous improvements.- Sourcing cost-effective solutions & working with OEM’s / Suppliers for best return on investment.- Completion of snag lists, site handover protocols and updating site folders.- Using Pemac CMMS to add new PM’s ensuring machines are maintained to sufficient level after handover.- Ability to travel between sites as and when required.Project Technician Requirements:- Mechanical / Electrical based apprenticeship or equivalent degree qualification.- 8+ years’ Maintenance Technician / 5+ years Project Technician experience preferably in manufacturing industry.- Excellent numeric and analytical skills.- Ability to multi task between office-based and tool-based role.- Experienced knowledge of Microsoft Office package.- Methodical with excellent organizational and communication skill.- Knowledge of RCM, PM, Lean principles and Techniques advantageous.- Previous Project management & CAD experience desirable but not essential.About Xtratherm:Xtratherm is an innovative insulation manufacturer with a strong focus on supporting the construction sector.
