You will be working in a production environment within a friendly team, you will be required to work alone when needed.Job Role;• Preparation of parts, (Cleaning, Blasting, Masking, Jigging)Preparation of plating line equipment and chemistry• Plating of parts in line with customer specifications (works order details and customer drawing)• Post plating treatments and finishing (grinding, polishing)• Inspection and validation of plating• Endorse production housekeeping promoting the importance of a clean, tidy, safe working environment in working in accordance with 5S practices• Raise any non-conformance issues on any item as soon as they are identified using the company procedures• Support investigation of the non-conformance process• Assist in set up reduction, lean, continuous improvement activities as required• Adhere to time keeping and attendance procedures.• Ensure shop floor data collection bookings are correct at all timesPreferred Experience:• Worked in other surface treatment industry• FLT Driver (counterbalance)• Overhead Crane• Worked in a production environment• Experience with technical measuring equipment (micrometre / paint thickness measurement)• Worked within ISO 9001 quality management system• Able to read and understand technical documentation and engineering drawings• Working knowledge of 5SThe ideal candidate:• Well-organised, careful methodical worker with a positive attitude and energy• Production results orientated• Must be flexible and able to meet key deadlines and targets• Hands-on practical• Eye for detail / quality• Ability to learn new systems and processes• Sound practical judgment concerning everyday matters• Ability to be able to communicate effectively and work within a team.If you read through this and think you may meet our criteria, then APPLY NOW!Salary: £9.50 /hourImmediate start – 12 week temporary to permanent Days and Afters
