Maintenance TechnicianYou will join us as a Maintenance Technician and Work within the ethos and standards of the company.Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot and repair of all factory equipment - electrical, electronic, pneumatic and mechanical.- Ensure that all breakdowns are recorded in our Pemac CMMS system.- Carry out Preventative Maintenance work as required by PM schedules and suggest improvements.- Maintain systems in place for spare parts stock and ensure system is being correctly utilised.- Must be able to dismantle, adjust, modify, improve and assemble factory equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating / repair manuals, or drawings.- Take an active part in all machine installations, continuous improvements and maintenance projects.- Undertake training as and when required i.e. MEWP, Forklift, Abrasive Wheel, PFPE, Manual Handling, Fire Extinguisher, etc.- Provide cover for the Maintenance Technician – Grade 3 when required.- Complete advanced training i.e. Confined Spaces, First Aiders, etc.- Complete internal MT2 induction training i.e. Site Training, CBM.- Provide Apprentice & MT1’s with assistance and guidance in learning and development.Maintenance Technician Requirements:- Mechanical / Electrical based apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.- Min 4+ years’ Maintenance Technician experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.- Multi Skilled Technician Experience e.g. Mechanical & Electrical.- Decisive & Ability to make decisions quickly and effectively to meet deadlines.- Excellent numeric and analytical skills.About Xtratherm:Xtratherm is an innovative insulation manufacturer with a strong focus on supporting the construction sector.
