Job Description

User Centred Design is at the heart of everything we do, collaborating across the business to move Reed products to the next level.We are looking for a creative design professional, with a passion for solving user and business needs. As a Junior Product Designer in the Reed.co.uk Design team, you will report into the Senior Product Designer and work with creative leadership and keypartners to deliver our products and services through our multi-device experiences.Key Responsibilities / What you’ll do:

  • Create elegant solutions for Reed.co.uk’s products – from early discovery and exploration through to final UI designs, iterating and improving experiences.
  • Participate in user experience research and usability studies and workshops.
  • Support the wider design team in updating design patterns for the Reed digital ecosystem, and the Reed.co.uk Design System.
  • Collaborate closely with other designers as well as product managers, data analysts and engineers and wider stakeholders.
Your skills and Experience:
  • Education or training in the field of Digital Design
  • Demonstrable skills in typography, iconography, colour and layout.
  • Awareness of user research, information architecture, wireframing and prototyping.
  • Working knowledge of Figma / Sketch, Adobe CS or other relevant design tools.
  • Passion for defining user problems, and solving them through design.
  • Strong interest in the latest design, UX and technology trends
