My client is well established and is a leading provider of children services. ·Salary - Up to £42,000 depending on experience.·Hours - 37 hours·Area - Holbeach, Lincolnshire. ·Permanent vacancy Responsibilities - Residential Service Manager - Children Services·To be a member of the Senior Management Team within a residential setting. ·To attend weekly Senior Staff Meetings in a liaison and advisory capacity.·To chair Child Care Staff Meetings where designated. ·To offer formal Supervision to members of the staff team as delineated in the Staff Support and Development Programme.·Where delegated, to offer Line-Management within the Staff Support and Development Programme for Child Care Staff.·To assist in the professional development of colleagues by involvement in other relevant aspects of the companys Staff Support and Development Programme. Care Managers will hold a responsibility for the following specific duties held in rotation within the group also the general organisation and operation of the home on set designated shift times.·Hold operational responsibility for a specific management aspect of the home (e.g. recreation programmes, administration of medication, etc).·To play a significant role in the training and induction of Child Care Staff.Skills required - Residential Service Manager - Children Services·Level 5 Diploma/NVQ (Residential Childcare or equivalent).·Experience within a similar service is required due to having a working knowledge of Ofsted requirements.·Hold over 2 years experience as a Service Manager ·Have experience in supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs.·The passion and desire to motivate staff and service users to achieve their full potential.·Preferred, commuting distance from Holbeach, Lincolnshire.Benefits - ·Competitive salarys - £42,000 depending on experience·Motivated staff and management ·Career progression for high performers·Tax relief on vehicle.·Pension The position of Residential Service Manager - Children Services is very rewarding and makes a difference to the quality of life for service users on a daily basis.
