The University of Lincolns National Centre for Food Manufacturing is a satellite campus of the University and a major resource for the UKs food manufacturing sector delivering skills, research, and support for innovation in partnership with over 250 leadingfood businesses. Our clients include Coca-Cola, Bakkavor, Kraft Heinz, Nestle and other leading businesses. The NCFM is part of the Lincolnshire Institute of Technology as a leading institute for developing higher level skills provision in partnership withemployers.We require a Marketing and Business Support Officer to drive business and stakeholder engagement, oversee operational delivery of our short course provision along with wider administrative duties.Our students are mainly apprentices who study part-time, with distance learning supported by block release the platform for delivery. In addition, we offer a series of short courses for food industry professionals which this role will specifically supportincluding the roll-out of the Food Manufacturing Bootcamp which is being delivered in partnership with the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership.The NCFM is the central hub of the South Lincolnshire Food Enterprise Zone, underpinning a key strategic partnership between the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership, Lincolnshire County Council, South Holland District Council and the University.The post holder will play a pivotal role in coordinating FEZ communications with our partners.You will be part of a dynamic team who are adept at working with businesses and will work closely with colleagues in the College of Science who are engaged in marketing activities.Please note that this post requires a Enhanced DBS check.
