Job Description

Account Manager OnlineSalary - £30,000 Benefits - Death in Service and Critical Illness cover25 days Annual Leave + Bank HolidaysMy Client are one of the most progressive suppliers of flowers and plants into large-sized retail organisations as well as e-commerce customers in the United Kingdom. They love short communication lines, high levels of responsibility and like to work closely together in a team-based organisation. My Client are looking for an Account Manager Online. Having strong commercial acumen and previous experience dealing with online customers will give you the ability to influence at all levels and to deliver, develop and integrate the overall (UK and NL) business strategy, to ensure their business accounts are maintained and to drive the business growth in line with internal targets. There is a strong requirement for you to build and develop internal relationships as well as external powerful customer orientated relationshipsThe responsibilities of this role include;*The development, calculating and sales of (new) products in cooperation with NPD*Continuous dialogue with customer on current and future product range*Management of product specifications in close cooperation with commercial assistant*Analysis of sales performance and continuously focus on sales optimization with their customers*Identifying and creating new sales opportunities within existing account(s) and/or new accounts*Alignment with technical team on technical performance of current/future product range*Keeping track of developments in the market by visiting fairs, suppliers and retailers *Continue to develop the e-fulfilment strategyThe ideal candidate will;*Be a team player with a flexible approach*Be motivated and hardworking with a can-do attitude*Possess good time management and organisational skills*Competent in the use of Microsoft Office*Possess a full driving license and own transport*A minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in a customer related jobPersonal attributes for this role include:*Commercial drive *Proven track record of working with multiples*Dynamic, proactive, responsible and result oriented attitude *Ability to deviate between strategic, tactical and operational priorities*Self-starting and ability to work independently *Professional communication skills including the ability to lead negotiations with multidisciplinary customer teams*Persuasive with ability to influence at all levels*Personable manner with resilience to pressurised environment *Strong analytical skills and great presentation*Great team worker including ability to guide multiple disciplines into the chosen direction and have the ability to work together with colleagues over different locationsExperience in horticulture / FMCG industry and experience in e-commerce will be advantageous.Hours of work will be based on 0830hrs to 1700hrs Monday to Friday however additional hours over the peak periods will be required to include early starts, late finishes and weekend working.In return our client is offering a competitive basic salary.
