HRS currently looking for an Associate Director to join a leading CRO specialising in drug discovery services based in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire area. As the Associate Director you will be part of the discovery team to lead and delivery biology related drug discovery projects. This is a great opportunity for a principal scientist or associate director with strong leadership experience in vitro and in vivo projects focused on small molecule drug discovery.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Your duties as the Associate Director will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:1. You will lead, design and deliver the biology strategy for small molecule drug discovery projects.2. You will provide scientific leadership to develop assays and solutions to key issues arising. 3. Develop the biology plans and proposals for new projects.4. Work alongside internal teams and external collaborators. ROLE REQUIREMENTS:To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Principal Scientist / Associate Director we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:1. Relevant degree in Pharmacology or Biological Sciences.2. Proven industry experience in leading in vitro drug discovery projects.3.
