Job Description

Customer Support Administrator sought by an automotive parts distributor who has been supplying to the motor trade for over 20 years. Backed by exceptional customer service and the highest levels of availability, they are firmly establishedas a leading supplier to the UK aftermarket.Formally known in the business as a Sales Support Administrator you will be reporting to theSales Support Team Leader, you will be the first point of contact for customers. You will be expected to deliver optimum customer service solutions to our existingand potential customers whilst advocating the Company brand and image.

  • Processing of sales orders, sales invoices, back orders, and special orders where necessary, ensuring that all product references and prices are correctly entered.
  • Develop and maintain good and effective working relationships between customers, suppliers, and our internal team.
  • Ensure that all incoming telephone calls are answered promptly and that all callers are dealt with in a polite and friendly manner.
  • Advise customers of any issues regarding deliveries and stock availability.
  • Maintain a friendly and harmonious atmosphere within the sales office encouraging staff to keep a positive attitude, tidy up the office daily to create a better space of work.
  • Maintaining confidentiality on all aspects of company policy and operations when dealing with and speaking to third-party customers and suppliers.
  • Liaising with other departments as necessary
The successful Sales Support Administrator will demonstrate:
  • Order processing experience
  • Confident with experience of taking inbound calls and resolving issues
  • A high level of customer service and a very friendly telephone manner
  • Good attention to detail
  • Experience of working at pace in a very busy environment
  • Ability to work as part of a lively team of 6 as well as using your own initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure and make correct decisions
  • Competent with Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Demonstrate evidence of building relationships with customers or suppliers
