Job Description

Our client is looking for a Customer & Aftersales Technical Support Advisor to join them in Hixon (near Stafford), on a permanent basis. The role is responsible for ensuring customer requests are processed efficiently in line with processes detailed withinthe Business Procedures Manual and standards of performance. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a technical or customer support role, along with excellent accuracy and communication skills.Main Duties:

  • Provide technical assistance to external and internal customers
  • Resolve customer queries (internal and external) and provide effective responses, solutions or support
  • Facilitate and co-ordinate engineer site visits
  • Maintain and develop nationwide coverage of subcontracting engineers
  • Develop and deliver product and process training to subcontracting engineers
  • Facilitate and co-ordinate on-site product commissioning projects
  • Maintain costs of site visits within set budget
  • Facilitate warranty claims
  • Ensure effective and appropriate communication
  • Provide effective contribution to continual improvement of processes
  • Ensure effective teamworking within and across departments
  • Ensure compliance with all company procedures and policies
  • Ensure compliance with company Health and Safety Policies
Experience Required:
  • Proven record of a similar role within a proactive Technical or Customer Support Team
